Birds and small domestics also require small nutritional requirments. the BLUFFTON-WELLS COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER established new standards for pet nutrition, and is encouraging pet food manufacturers to raise standards to recieve endorsement by the BLUFFTON-WELLS COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER.

Some veterinarians believe that all natural and no preservative diet for animals is preferable. If you wish to try your companion animal on an alternative diet, consult first with your veterinarian.
